L'Atelier TiramiSu - A Tiramisu Specialized Cafe

Located at the basement 1 of Clarke Quay Central, L'Atelier TiramiSu is well hidden at a corner, close to Exit F of the MRT station. After a nice big round of walking about, I finally found this cozy little cafe that specialized on tiramisu. It was the only type of dessert available and they had a couple of different flavors from classic to matcha to limited edition creme brulee. Without much thoughts, I settled with a slice of matcha tiramisu. It was a soothingly creamy indulgence with the ladyfingers being evenly soaked and not overly soggy. The only complaint I had was the alcohol taste being too faint and undetectable. If you preferred more alcoholic content, get the other flavors since the owner told me matcha was the mildest.

Old Hen Coffee Bar - My first Cold Brew experience

From the countless amount of café posts that I have posted, you could have easily guessed that I am one of those who fell preyed to the café hopping madness trend. I have been warned by my friend as this is an expensive hobby. Thankfully I have managed to cut down on my indulgence. Anyway, I visited Old Hen Coffee Bar recently to try their popular cold brew white coffee. It was my first time ordering coffee from a café because I hardly ever drink coffee.

Was just chilling around and decided to take some silhouette selfies since I found this spot really great for photography! (Since I was alone, I got one of the cafe's owner to capture this priceless shot of me!

The coffee taste was pretty balanced in terms of the coffee and milkyness. I could actually taste the milk and the coffee that lingered a mildly bitter aftertaste! I felt a bit uneasy after that since I am just not used to drinking coffee, not to mention a (small) bottle. It costs $6.50 a bottle and I heard they run out fast!

My timeless (black and white) shot that I posted in my instagram. ''A temporal time freeze from this hectic world while having a bottle of cold brew.''

Migme social entertainment platform - #migupSG #migmesg

I was invited by the guys behind #migmesg as an invited blogger to the #migupSG talk the other day. I headed down to their office to find out more about this social entertainment platform since I have not heard of it before. (Migme has been re-branded as it was previously known as mig33.)
I will let these cute migme stickers do the talking since they are so eager to share more about Migme!

Hey there! *waves* Since Migme is rather new in Singapore, I shall give you guys a brief introduction of what Migme is all about!

If you like dressing up an avatar like me *act cool*, there are just so many different clothes to choose from. How about being cool virtually like me?

Migme have a leveling system where you get to level up! Obviously the higher the level, the more accomplished you are, just like gaming. Pssst, one of Migme team member is a huge fan of Dota 2, just like me! Anyway, being higher level unlock more functions such as being able to create chat groups at level 10, larger chat rooms as well as able to give more premium gifts.

The variety of gifts is really huge! Hmmm you won't expect what your friends might give you...*evil laugh*
I am dying to see your reaction when you open that gift box...

You won't be bored since Migme incorporated a live chat where you could chat with your friends privately if you are mutually following each other. Larger chat rooms available for bigger groups too!

You don't have to crack your brain too hard or stressed over what to post. Just post what comes to your mind. Adding a couple of pictures would also be great! Not to forget those ##### (hashtags) of trending topics.

Even if you don't post anything, you could be a stalker detective like me to check out on other people's profile or what they posted.

Back to me and ending my post with 2 random pictures I took!

3 guys with 3 migmes' or whatever you call them...
Feel free to sign up an account and add me @dessertingbeauty as well!

Sunday Folks - Yup, I went on a Sunday!

Having heard that the people from Creamier have opened another brunch serving waffles and ice cream as well, I dragged my friend along with me to Holland Village to try. I have to admit that I was not fan of Creamier's ice cream which had high over run rate, resulting in fast melting and lower quality ice cream. However, I can't say the same thing for its waffles because they were easily one of the best I have tried so far - Crisp on outside, voluminous and fluffy inside. Seems like everybody is fixed on the similar descriptions of waffle choice these days. The instagram feed had been flooded with pictures from Sunday Folks already.

I was definitely not surprised by the crowd when I arrived at the doorstep since it was a Sunday when I visited them. The first thought that came into my mind was ''Is this a polyclinic??'' No offence but it looked like one because of the benches placed outside, the crowd inside and the large glass windows played a part into portraying that impression. Not to forget all those 'sian' and depress look on people's faces while waiting for seats. They only lacked the bell which goes ding-dong to signal the next queue number.

Despite the crowd, I managed to grab a seat within 5 minutes! So lucky! I had the earl grey lavandar soft serve with waffles while my friend went for the salted gula melaka. Being a typical greedy foodie, I was quite pissed when my soft serve appeared much smaller as compared to my friend's. The problem with standardization.... Not surprising, the soft serve started its melt-down process rather quickly...

Both of us brought down our soft serve from the top of our waffles as it proved too difficult to eat. After our 1st layer, we had to bring up the soft serve again because of its rapid melting rate. Troublesome right? The waffle was really yummy and I could have easily finished up a couple more.

I kind of liked the chocolate waffle base for the soft serve because it was still firm and crunchy despite having absorbed the melting soft serve. Anyway the focus is still on its waffles!
(I will update my creamier post next time because I revisited Creamier like 4-5 times already? Toa Payoh is just so near AMK that it is rather convenient for me to chill there...)
